As highlighted in the January issue of the AWS Welding Journal (p.34), SERVO-ROBOT served as the official judge at the 2nd Annual Robotic Arc Welding Competition held during FABTECH 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia USA last November. The WiKi-SCAN™ was used to automatically score each test sample and then select the top three competitors thus eliminating any possible subjectivity.
This is the second consecutive year that SERVO-ROBOT’s Handheld Weld Inspection System WiKi-SCAN™ has been selected to judge the quality of the competitor’s welding thus proving that it is recognized by the American Welding Society as being both efficient and accurate. The WiKi-SCAN™ has also been used to successfully judge AWS sponsored Professional Welder and Skills Olympics competitions held at FABTECH.
